Shipping:
Given the comparably large size and weight of some of our products additional shipping charges may apply.
FREE SHIPPING for orders $200 and over (all items must be shipped to the same address), a savings that can be quite substantial.

Customers requesting deliveries to Hawaii, Alaska, and abroad will be sent a rate quote. Approval of revised freight charges must be received before shipment will be sent. The majority of our customers reside in the United States. At this time, our shopping cart will not accept international orders. However, we have shipped items to customers as far away as Europe and New Zealand. If you are interested in placing an international order, please contact us with your location for an estimate. Decisions on whether to ship internationally are made on a case-by-case basis depending on the size of the order. Large furniture items cannot be shipped internationally. We will consider shipping smaller items.
Payment and Sales Tax:
Presently, The Gifty Goose accepts credit card payments from Visa, Master Card and Pay Pal. Personal and cashier's checks as well as wire transfers are also accepted.
Because The Gifty Goose operates in New Jersey, we are required to collect 6% sales tax on orders shipped to a New Jersey address. Those who live outside of New Jersey will not be charged sales tax for orders placed on The Gifty Goose, but may want to consult applicable tax laws in their state.
Processing Time:
We ship most orders with in 2-3 business days. However some orders may require additional time. If it is estimated that an order will not ship with in one week (due to customization, out of stock, etc...) we will notify you ofthe delay via e-mail or phone. If quicker shipping is required, please email Jennifer@giftygoose.com prior to ordering and we will provide a quote.
Return Policy:
We only carry products from reputable, quality manufacturers and designers. However, even under the best circumstances, products may arrive with defect or shipping damage. Please inspect your purchase thoroughly immediately after receiving it. Your purchase may be eligible for return within 7 days of receipt if it is determined by giftygoose.com that the product was damaged in the initial shipping or has a manufacturer's defect.
Every item we sell is backed by our 100% guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us for an exchange or STORE CREDIT. Please see details and rules.
giftygoose.com must authorize all returns BEFORE they are sent. Please send an email within 7 days of receipt of your order toJennifer@giftygoose.com to receive the required preauthorization. Once we authorize a return we will email you back with your Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA), the return mailing address and any further instructions. Again, all returns must be preauthorized without exception.
Furthermore, all returns must be shipped back in the original box. The box must contain all the original packaging, accessories, instructions, and any other original materials included with the shipment. The merchandise will then be sent back to the manufacturer at the customer's expense.
After our manufacturer has received the product and the claim of damage or defect has been determined to be legitimate and not the result of misuse or abuse on the part of the customer, a replacement will be sent in an expedient fashion.
Decorative Accessories: Due to the custom nature of most of our products, combined with the fact that most items are special ordered and not kept in stock, The Gifty Goose accepts returns of decorative accessories for exchange or store credit only. Items can be returned within 7 days of the ship-to date in the original packaging for a full credit less the cost of shipping and handling. Item must be packed in the original box, must be in original condition and returned to The Gifty Goose prepaid and insured. Shipping is nonrefundable and no COD returns will be accepted. Damaged returns will not be honored. Please contact us to let us know that you plan to return a purchase prior to sending it to obtain a Return Authorization. We will provide you with shipping directions and a RA#. Once the item is received and logged at The Gifty Goose, we will issue you a store credit shopping code for you to use towards your next purchase. Exchanges are considered "final sales".
Custom or Hand Painted Items: Any items listed as "Custom Made to Order" or "Hand Painted" are exactly as implied - made to order. They may not be returned.
Furniture: We do not hold much furniture stock, most pieces are special ordered. Custom made furniture may not be returned for any reason. Select furniture can be returned for a 25% restocking fee less the cost of shipping. Contact us prior to making your purchase if you need clarification.
Personalized Items: Due to their custom nature, no personalized or monogrammed items may be returned.

Occasionally, due to a programming error, a product may be listed with the wrong price or with no price at all. We cannot honor incorrect orders and will immediately inform you if there is any problem with the order. Please contact us if you are having a problem with a drop-down menu or getting an order processed - we can usually fix it very quickly so that you can order the item.
